Our client is a Melbourne-based joint venture supporting research translation, commercialisation, and growth of the biotech ecosystem.
The role
You will be involved in the evaluation, management, and development of early stage small-molecule drug discovery initiatives:
- Apply medicinal chemistry expertise to support drug discovery activities
- Manage activities conducted by CROs and University Research Groups
- Support the development, execution, and management of project development plans to defined timelines and budgets.
The requirements
- PhD in relevant field and at least three years’ postdoctoral research experience in synthetic, or ideally, medicinal chemistry
- Excellent technical knowledge of synthetic chemistry methods
- Passion for medicinal chemistry and a strong desire to learn
