The Company

Our client is a leading Australian-owned Clinical Research Organisation specialising in end-to-end services for clinical trial design and execution. In addition to their clinical and regulatory affairs service offerings, they also have in-house biostatistics experts who translate data into meaningful insights for their clients. These include global partners in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and medical devices industries, across a range of therapeutic areas and stages of clinical research.

The Opportunity

As a Proposals Manager with our client, you will work closely with internal teams, including Business Development and Finance teams, to prepare and submit detailed and compelling bid proposals for clients and third-party providers. Acting as the primary point of contact for clients during the proposals process, you will help to secure projects in clinical trials.

  • Review and analyse RFP documents to ensure adequate information for budget and proposal preparation is provided in a timely manner.
  • Partner with the projects team on the pricing and creation of proposals & contracts, coordinating internal efforts to ensure all timelines are met.
  • Work with the business development team to create and finalise the presentation, quality and compliance of final proposal documents & contracts for the business.
  • Develop and maintain a data repository for proposals and contracts, with regular reporting to management.
  • Coordinate contract budgets; providing development, data and communication support.
  • Review and continuously improve our client’s offering, providing process improvement initiatives and support implementation.

Position Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong understanding of the importance of high-quality customer service delivery withing the CRO industry.
  • Strong experience crafting high-quality proposals for clients in the clinical research sector.
  • Proven ability to effectively and efficiently lead technical teams within a multidisciplinary organisation.
  • High-level attention to detail and a strong desire to support clinical research.
