BioMelbourne Network has opened nominations for its Women in Leadership Awards 2025.
This prestigious event, now in its 11th year, continues to recognise and champion women who have made outstanding contributions in the healthtech sector.
The BioMelbourne Network Women in Leadership Awards are designed to celebrate, honour and profile successful women in the healthtech industry who: exhibit leadership in their fields of expertise and have made outstanding contributions to advancing the sector; serve as role models and mentors to others; and take strategic risks, tenaciously pursue goals and are outstanding innovators.

Nominations can be submitted online via the BioMelbourne Network website by 20 November 2024. Nominees will be reviewed by a panel of esteemed judges, comprised of distinguished leaders and experts from various sectors of the healthtech industry who bring a wealth of knowledge and experience. The winners will be announced at the Women in Leadership Awards ceremony in 2025.
Previous awardees include prominent figures such as Professor Mimi Tang, Professor Sharon Lewin AO, Dr Anna Lavelle AM, Dr Amanda Caples, Dr Jackie Fairley, and Dr Andrea Douglas, all of whom have made significant contributions to the healthtech sector.

The BioMelbourne Network Women in Leadership Awards were launched in 2015 to recognise and champion women, at different stages of their careers, who have made outstanding contributions in the healthtech sector, including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical technology, digital health, academia and research, hospitals and healthcare, R&D services and industry support services; and to inspire more women to pursue leadership roles.
