Ashley has worked in the medical Industry for around 25 years. After obtaining his PhD he joined the pharmaceutical industry and worked in the UK and USA before moving to Australia. Ashley has a deep understanding of the commercialisation of biomedical innovation gained form having held senior roles in new product R&D, business development, licencing and research partnerships in the Upjohn Company (now Pfizer) and GlaxoSmithKline. Through his consultancy business Ashley has worked with a variety of SMEs, was National Executive for the medical technologies and pharmaceuticals sector at the Manufacturing Excellence Taskforce Australia (META) and has served on the boards of an number of NFPs including research foundations, Cooperative Research Centres and industry associations.
