Cytiva has collaborated with BioMelbourne Network to create a webinar showcasing the promising industry researchers and companies who finished in the top four places in Cytiva’s ANZ BioChallenge.
The event will include a panel discussion exploring the challenges in developing therapeutics and possible ways to overcome these. Stuart Newman from Therapeutic Innovation Australia and Jarrod Belcher from MTPConnect will also give attendees a glimpse of funding and grant opportunities to come this year for the biotech industry.

In 2021 Cytiva launched the ANZ BioChallenge support program to help biotech researchers and companies to overcome obstacles in biologic manufacturing. The competition attracted 32 proposals from academic institutions and start-up companies across the region’s biotechnology industry. The focus was on empowering biotech researchers and companies in three areas: cell engineering, process development and isolation as well as chromatography and filtration purification.
