The National Science and Innovation Agenda has created a new approach to non-dilutive funding in Australia and a range of new Federal Government initiatives. This is creating new opportunities for companies to access support, with a focus on collaboration between industry and academia, support for SMEs and international partnering and engagement. This event will feature a presentation from Dr Tony Peacock, CEO of CRC Association on the new CRC-P program as well as a “rapid fire” session which will provide a snap-shot view of support programs available to companies from the perspective of program managers and industry-based program participants.

Who should attend? CEOs, CFOs, R&D and Commercial Directors, Business Development Managers, Strategic Alliance and Partnership Managers, and anyone with an interest in understanding the array of support programs available to assist companies.

Cooperative Research Centres-Projects (CRC-Ps) are one of the most exciting developments in the Australian innovation system for a number of years. They are designed to bring together industry and public researchers to deliver practical and applied outcomes. Each CRC-P can run for up to 3 years and up to $1M per year from the Commonwealth Government through the CRC Programme.
