The BioMelbourne Network Women in Leadership Awards were launched in 2015 to recognise and champion women at different stages of their careers, who have made outstanding contributions to advancing the biotechnology, medical technology and pharmaceutical sector, and inspire more women to pursue leadership roles.

The Awards recognise that leadership occurs at all levels within an organisation and throughout the sector. This year, we celebrate the evolving stages of an impactful industry career with three Award categories:
– Distinguished Leadership Award – Impact For Industry
– Inspiring Leadership Award – Making It Happen
– Emerging Leadership Award – Mover & Shaker

This year we are honoured to share a special message of congratulations on the day from Her Excellency the Honourable Linda Dessau AC, Governor of Victoria, and we’re delighted to be joined by The Hon. Jane Garrett, Parliamentary Secretary for Jobs who will be presenting the Awards. The Awards Ceremony will be hosted in person (invitation only) at the Royal Society of Victoria and live streamed to our Network and wider community.

We warmly welcome all BioMelbourne Network members, non-members, friends and colleagues to join us online for this important celebration of outstanding women in our sector!
