BioMelbourne Network’s digital transformation strategy is designed to change how our sector connects, strengthens and grows, to “reimagine engagement”. In November 2022, we launched Wilam, our Life Sciences Industry Community, and will soon launch BioResource Hub, our online library of events recordings going back to March 2020.

To ensure that Wilam is free for users and to provide low-cost access to our events on the BioResource Hub, we are developing partnerships with key organisations whose support will help us maintain these platforms. Through our agreements, partner organisations help promote Wilam, provide value on the platforms and develop opportunities to leverage Wilam to strengthen the ecosystem. In return, BioMelbourne Network provides a package of tailored support services to these organisations.

We are excited to announce the first of our foundation partnerships with CAI, one of the largest life science consultancy companies in North America, Europe and the APAC region. They are experts on, and excel at, commissioning and validation related services but also provide a wide range of consultancy services for the life science industries.

John Wrenn, CAI Country Manager, Australia and New Zealand, says CAI is pleased to join the Wilam network and support the biotechnology industry in Melbourne and across Australia.

“We’re excited to bring CAI’s worldwide knowledge base to support the industry’s best practices in Australia and be part of an energised and growing ecosystem that will improve quality and serve patients across the country and in all the markets served by Wilam network partners,” he says.

Since founding in 1996, CAI had delivered more than USD $1.25 billion in services for hundreds of clients across thousands of projects up to $30 million in size. CAI has more than 850 global employees, with turnover last year in excess of $156MM spread over our established legal Entities in Australia, Canada, China, India, Ireland, Switzerland, Italy, Malaysia, The Netherlands, Singapore, Korea, Japan, United Kingdom and the United States. CAI is a recognised leader in pharmaceutical, ATMP and biotechnology/fill finish CQV and is noted for their expertise in industry standards and requirements, project management and project dynamics.

CAI has launched a local presence in Australia and are bringing their experience to support the Australian biotech, pharma and medical device market. For more information or a confidential discussion on how CAI can support your operations, please contact john.wrenn@cagents.com.
