Cartherics Pty Ltd announced the appointment of Prof. Bryan R.G. Williams as the new Board Chair and Ms. Laurence Nore as a Non-Executive Director.
Prof. Williams, a well-known cancer researcher, had been a Non-Executive Director at Cartherics since 2017. He expressed his excitement about leading the Board, highlighting Cartherics’ strong patent portfolio and preclinical data for CAR-T and CAR-NK cells targeting ovarian cancer and endometriosis.
Prof. Williams took over from Mr. Bob Moses, the founding Chair, who stepped down for personal reasons. Ms. Laurence Nore, with over 20 years of experience in the US Life Sciences industry, joined the board. Her expertise in business strategy and financial management was expected to be valuable for Cartherics.
Cartherics’ CEO, Prof. Alan Trounson AO, emphasized the importance of these appointments. He noted that Prof. Williams’ scientific expertise and Ms. Nore’s business acumen would help the company navigate challenges and advance their therapies for cancer and endometriosis.
