Gerry McKiernan - Director of Quality, Cell Therapies
Gerry has 20 years’ experience in various Quality roles in R&D and cGMP manufacturing in Europe, Asia and Australia. Gerry’s career has included biotechnology, pharmaceutical and medical device industries, where he has overseen quality systems for product development, clinical trials, validation and commercial contract manufacturing. He has led large Quality Management System implementation projects for cell therapy manufacturing sites in China and Japan and is the company lead for the business digitisation strategy at Cell Therapies Pty Ltd.
Ian Lucas - Partner, Customer Solutions Business Manager, Training Manager, SeerPharma
Ian has over 35 years of experience and expertise in:

• Computer Validation Training
• Automated Manufacturing Systems
He has experience with software development and implementing computerised systems. He has successfully designed and implemented many quality management and manufacturing solutions for the pharmaceutical industry and other regulated industries. Ian manages the Training Department and also works closely with customers to deliver fully validated customer-focused automated solutions.
Recently, Ian has been educating the industry on Industry 4.0 concepts, processes and technologies.
Ian regularly presents training courses and seminars on practical approaches to computer validation.

Jade Johnstone - Director Collections Performance and Improvement, Donor Services, Australian Red Cross Lifeblood
Jade holds portfolios in the areas of change and improvement, quality and audit, collections activity, anti-d, bone marrow coordination and supply chain management at the Australian Red Cross Lifeblood. This national role covers 78 static donor centres and over 20 mobile units, it is the only supplier of blood and blood products in Australia. Jade holds a Board position at Yarram and District Health Service a rural organisation in Victoria that offers a 24-hour urgent care facility and aged care residential services including a high care nursing home and low care hostel accommodation.
Jade is a dynamic leader and has demonstrated success developing high performing values-led multidisciplinary teams across complex clinical settings. Jade is passionate and enthusiastic with a sound understanding of project management, has vast experience in enterprise change management, and has provided leadership and operational management in transforming health services in readiness for major capital builds and an electronic medical record. Louisa De Vries - Consulting Manager, Bosch Australia Manufacturing Solutions
Louisa is a mechanical engineer with a passion for manufacturing, technology and innovation. After 18 years at Holden, Louisa moved on to managing electric bus research projects and building a predictive maintenance analytics platform for trains. Louisa was introduced to Bosch while sourcing test equipment for an emergency invasive ventilator project, which played a key role in re-invigorating local manufacturing during the pandemic. Louisa is now the manager of a consulting team at Bosch Australia Manufacturing Solutions, focusing on supporting manufacturers on their pathway of commercialisation, manufacturing strategy, process optimization or expansion.
Megan Trower - Performance Optimisation Director, Manufacturing and Quality, Australian Red Cross Lifeblood
After commencing her career in accounting professional services, Megan discovered a passion for continuous improvement. Her experience spans across a range of industries including insurance, commodities, construction, utilities, stadium management and health. At Lifeblood, Megan leads the Performance Optimisation Team within the Manufacturing and Quality division. This team is responsible for promoting a culture of continuous improvement in the division, providing Lean expertise to the business, identifying and tracking key divisional performance metrics as well as delivering improvement assignments.
