The National Industry PhD Program will powerfully connect industry with PhD scholars and the research sector.
It will create transformative opportunities for industry professionals to do a career-enhancing PhD, and for PhD scholars to do industry-focused research and training as part of their PhD.
The delivery partners will leverage their deep knowledge of the education and research sector, industry connections, communications and marketing reach, and innovative training and coaching.
Campus Plus, which will lead the consortium, was selected for its immense experience in industry engagement; strategic partnership creation, researcher commercialisation training and mentoring, technology transfer, and commercialisation.
“We’re delighted to deliver the National Industry PhD program on behalf of the Federal Government’s Department of Education,” said Campus Plus Founder and CEO Nick McNaughton.

Science & Technology Australia is the nation’s peak body for the science and technology sector, representing 120 member organisations and over 105,000 science and technology professionals.
STA will deliver the National Industry PhD Program’s communications, marketing and outreach, drawing on its deep connections across the research sector.
