MedTech Innovator APAC in collaboration with BioMelbourne Network
MedTech Innovator is the largest accelerator of medical devices in the world and the industry’s premiere nonprofit global competition and accelerator for medical device, digital health, and diagnostic companies. They are looking for outstanding early to mid-stage medical device, diagnostic, and digital health companies in the Asia Pacific region who are transforming healthcare.
In 2022, MedTech Innovator Asia Pacific will recognize the 20 best-in-class startups across the Asia Pacific regions. Selected startups will receive a slot in MedTech Innovator’s annual Asia Pacific Accelerator program and will be eligible to compete for up to US$300,000 in cash prizes and awards. There is no application fee, and no equity is required from participating companies. The deadline to apply is Monday 31 January 2022.

Paul Grand, Chief Executive Officer, MedTech Innovator
Paul is the founder and CEO of MedTech Innovator. He created and managed MedTech Innovator as a program within RCT Ventures from 2013 – 2016. In 2016, with the financial support of RCT and other sponsors, Paul left to run MedTech Innovator as a stand-alone company. He spent 11 years as Director and Managing Director at RCT Ventures, the investment arm of Research Corporation Technologies, Inc. Prior to RCT, Paul was co-founder and CEO of startups in the MedTech, pharma, and tech sectors.
Jeff Malone, Chief Executive Officer, BioMelbourne Network
Jeff joined BioMelbourne Network as the CEO in July 2020. Prior to this, he worked in a senior leadership role with Design and Industry, building new markets for Australian product development across the U.S. and Southeast Asia. He was also the COO for Grey Innovation.
Alex Newton, Chief Executive Officer, NAVi Medical Technologies
Alex is co-founder and CEO of Navi Medical Technologies, a start-up company commercialising a novel device to improve the standard of care for critically ill newborn. He is a business leader, engineer and company director with experience in technical and management roles in the medical device, aerospace and education industries. babies.
Jacqueline Savage is the Founder of MedCorp Technologies, a medical device company developing wearable technologies for the healthcare industry. As a young Australian product design engineer she is passionate and dedicated to improving healthcare through innovation.
