Brooker Consulting have announced that Michelle Lyon has joined the team, specialising in interim executive appointments.
Michelle has over 15 years’ experience in executive search, firstly partnering with FMCG and consumer-led businesses, then working with sectors that have social impact.
Over the last three years Michelle has specialised in working with clients who require an immediate executive resource. She is expert at sourcing highly agile and capable talent who have the technical and human skills to fulfil a short-term leadership gap.
Michelle attracts qualified professionals across senior management to join the Brooker Consulting Interim Talent Pool.
“Interim executives have the ability to make an immediate impact within an organisation. Traditionally, organisations have sought interim executives during times of transition or talent gaps such as during maternity or long service leave, or to provide leadership and functional expertise until a permanent appointment is made.
Over the last two years we have seen a dynamic shift in the way organisations engage talent due to uncertainty in both internal and external environments. Interim leaders have stepped in to provide extra short-term capability and capacity to alleviate further pressure on an already stressed workforce.
We expect that in 2022, more organisations will embrace this growing cohort of specialists and recognise the value that an interim executive can provide. In addition, we have seen a growing number of executives examine interim opportunities as an alternative way of working.”
