Call for Australian manufacturers to supply COVID-19 test kit components

6 April 2020

Are you an Australian manufacturer with the capability to produce inputs for COVID-19 RNA extraction? Do you have support to scale up your production?

We want to hear from you. Securing Australia’s COVID-19 testing capacity is one of the Australian Government’s highest priorities.

We are seeking responses via AusTender by 17 April 2020.

We’re already working with Australian companies who produce inputs for RNA extraction and PCR testing by ensuring their supply chains can continue to support production.

While the global market is adjusting and scaling up to meet heightened demand, Australia’s ability to manufacture testing kits locally will reduce our vulnerability to global supply chain disruption.

Manufacturing domestically may also contribute to global testing capacity.
