The longstanding relationship between 4DMedcial and its primary research and academic partner, the University of Melbourne, has been formalised through signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The two organisations collaborate in a number of spheres that will widen to include use of XV Technology in investigations by University researchers, provision of technical training, curriculum development inclusive of four-dimensional imaging, teaching into academic programs by guest lecturers and access to clinical networks. A key aspect of the relationship is participation by PhD candidates and students in internships and placements at 4DMedical, recognising the company’s objective of attracting the best staff in competition for talent.
The MoU was signed by Dr Andreas Fouras on behalf of 4DMedical and Professor Mark Hargreaves (Pro Vice Chancellor Research Partnerships and Infrastructure) for the University of Melbourne.
