The Opportunity
Reporting to the Business Development and Sales Manager APAC, you will continue to develop your already impressive capabilities in sales, relationship development, and reporting, and further develop your knowledge and understanding of the molecular diagnostics market.
- Develop regional business plans based on your market knowledge, surveillance, and reporting.
- Execute business plans and strategies to meet and exceed the annual sales revenue and growth goals for your assigned territory.
- Coordinate and execute all activities across the sales cycle, including product demonstrations and evaluations, organising the installation of equipment, and providing training and technical support to customers as required.
- Build, strengthen, and proactively manage customer relationships and alliances to support their needs and provide opportunities for capital sales and growth.
- Inform and support marketing initiatives by proactively seeking customer testimonials and identifying publications featuring our products.
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of trends in the market and accounts within your territory, activities of key competitors, and prepare monthly reports and forecasts for assigned accounts.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor of Science or equivalent knowledge in molecular biology.
- At least three years’ experience performing sales in a molecular diagnostics or life sciences market.
- Strong capabilities in complex sales processes highlighted by a history of successfully meeting and exceeding sales targets while also providing exceptional customer service.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute business plans and consistently achieve goals.
- Strong understanding of the molecular diagnostics market, especially infectious disease diagnostics, is advantageous but not essential.
