Over the past decade Jeff has worked extensively as a Senior Executive within the healthtech sector, having spent nearly 5 years as GM Australia for Australia’s largest contract medical device manufacturer, SRX, as well as having senior leadership roles with Grey Innovation and D+I.
Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, Jeff has lived and worked in the US, Mexico and South America, Thailand, China and Indonesia prior to coming to Australia in late 2009. Over this time he developed deep skills and experience in R&D, product design and development, market analysis and development, and advanced manufacturing. He led the start-up of 3 international design and manufacturing operations in Asia.
Jeff brings hands-on knowledge of Industry 4.0, advanced manufacturing, cyber-physical systems, IOT/ IIOT, cloud computing and artificial intelligence development, with much of this applied to healthtech.
His extensive global network continues to be valuable in his roles as a mentor on product development, and translation to commercialisation for a wide range of companies, University and Government Research organisations in the US, Singapore and Australia.
Jeff has a BSEE and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He is excited to be CEO of BioMelbourne Network, and is looking forward to working with member organisations to grow the Victoria’s capability and awareness across Australia and internationally.
