Beth joined BioMelbourne Network in early 2020. Beth holds a BBioMedSci and BMedChem from La Trobe University, and a BSc(Hons) and MPhil from The University of Melbourne. Beth has a background in scientific research, completed predominately at The Walter and Eliza Hall Institute in the area of malaria biology.
As a trained biologist Beth has transitioned into the realm of science communication, using her broad scientific knowledge and experience to promote the activities of the network and its members. She has vast experience in completing communications activities for various scientific events, conferences and networks, including the use of social media as a tool to connect researchers with industry, stakeholders, the public and beyond.
