Quality Assurance and Quality Control roles

Incisive Technologies is an Australian-based medtech company committed to improving oral health for all, through innovations in preventive dentistry. We are developing a product called BlueCheck (see https://www.incisive-technologies.com/) which is a new invention, enabling exquisitely sensitive detection of early-stage tooth decay. BlueCheck is about 30 times more sensitive than a routine x-ray.

Incisive seeks to hire a number of permanent full-time Quality Assurance and Quality Control roles to join our expanding Quality team at our Ferntree Gully, VIC facility. Reporting to the Head of Quality, these roles will support quality activities through testing products across all stages of the production lifecycle and providing administrative and documentation assistance. These roles have anticipated role expansion over time.

The ideal candidate(s) will have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacology, or substantially similar field,
  • 1+ yr full-time equivalent experience working in a laboratory setting in a regulated industry (medical devices, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, food, etc.),
  • Experience and passion in conducting day-to-day laboratory work,
  • Meticulous record-keeping skills
  • Outstanding writing skills,
  • Experience operating under a QMS (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 13485 or ISO 17025 or similar),
  • Demonstrated experience in in contributing to investigational work,
  • Maturity and skill sets required of a valuable team member.

The following traits are highly regarded:

  • Experience with protein chemistry or analyses of protein preparations,
  • Experience with hard tissue preparation and analysis,
  • Participation or exposure to internal or external quality audits,
  • Knowledge of high-throughput screening approaches to lead-discovery.

The successful candidate will be invited to commence as early as December 2022 with exact timing to be negotiated. Salary will be based on the level of experience.
