This information session will provide information on the newly opened streams of the Modern Manufacturing Initiative (MMI).
The MMI is the centrepiece of the Australian Government’s Modern Manufacturing Strategy (MMS). The MMI Translation and Integration streams will help manufacturers to scale up, create jobs, drive collaboration and identify new opportunities to access domestic and global value chains.
Information about the new program, including the grant opportunity guidelines and a link to the online application form, is available at business.gov.au/mmii for the Integration stream and business.gov.au/mmit for the Translation stream.
We are hosting information sessions that will provide an overview of the Manufacturing Translation and Integration streams, including eligibility requirements and key points from the assessment criteria. We will also provide some general tips for presenting a strong application. The session will be recorded and uploaded to business.gov.au.
Funding opportunities
The MMI is now open providing co-funding for manufacturing projects across two streams:
Australian Government funding will be provided on a co-investment basis and will cover up to 50 per cent of eligible project expenditure. The first round of the MMI Translation and Integrations streams is for the Space National Manufacturing Priority. Funding rounds for the other National Manufacturing Priorities will open in the coming weeks.
This session will be hosted on the Webex platform – register here.
