The Opportunity

The client is seeking a dynamic and driven Marketing Associate. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, and working closely with the team, including product and business development managers, you will assist to develop and support our clients branding. Your key remit will be to work with the team to develop outbound marketing messages to facilitate customer engagement for the Australian Life Sciences sector.

The Ideal Candidate

To join this successful team, you will be an outstanding candidate with commercial marketing acumen or potential. In addition, you will have experience and/or interest in:

  • Outbound digital marketing and development of messaging in collaboration with the team.
  • Preparation of outbound print material, such as satchel inserts, posters, trade booths, ads, website, and press releases.
  • Assist to manage the updating of our client’s website.
  • Supporting the clients branding in a professional and consistent manner.
  • Help coordinate trade events/conferences and assist in local territory vendor shows.
  • Assist to develop promotional material/give-aways.
  • Liaise with manufacturers, conference organisers and printing companies for digital and print marketing collateral.
  • Support messaging on social media channels.

Position Requirements

  • Qualifications in marketing, graphic design and/or communication.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat & CANVA.
  • Knowledge of branding and corporate identities, advertising design and typography.
  • Knowledge of website and digital media design and maintenance an advantage.
  • Ability to design with customer engagement and experience in mind.
  • Use of social media, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube an advantage.
  • Knowledge of CRM and associated digital marketing capabilities an advantage.
  • Some knowledge of event management is desirable.
  • Excellent organisational, communication and writing skills.
