Victorian Government Minister for Manufacturing Sovereignty Ben Carroll recently announced that small and medium sized Victorian manufacturers can apply for grants of up $250,000 under the Made in Victoria – Manufacturing Growth Program.
The program will support local manufacturers to introduce new technologies, expand operations, improve productivity and enhance sovereign manufacturing.
Last year, the program awarded more than $10 million to 29 projects, creating more than 550 new jobs across Victoria.
The grants will support Victorian manufacturers to improve productivity and competitiveness in local and global supply chains, create new jobs and upskill and reskill workers.
Grants can be used to purchase new equipment, improve existing products and processes, test new products and processes and develop supply chain capability.
Grants of between $50,000 to $250,000 are available. All grants must be matched by a minimum cash co-contribution of $2 for every $1 granted.
