Have your say into a new scale-up and manufacturing facility for biotech and medtech companies

Translational Manufacturing@TRI (TM@TRI) will serve as Australia’s first purpose built biomedical translational manufacturing facility that will enable biotech and medtech start-up companies to move to the scale-up stage.

Construction of the facility – which will be built next to TRI, the Princess Alexandra Hospital, and Patheon by Thermo Fisher Scientific’s manufacturing facility – is now a reality with up to $60 million in funding from the Queensland Government announced in June.

Expressions of Interest

This is an exciting time to be part of Brisbane’s biotech and medtech innovation precinct and you can help us shape the future of TM@TRI.

TRI and Life Sciences Queensland (LSQ) are currently seeking Expressions of Interest from medtech and biotech companies to assess their needs for facilities and services to scale up their innovations for clinical trials.

You are invited to register an Expression of Interest and to have your say in the development of this exciting biomedical translational manufacturing initiative, via a survey.

Take the survey, here.

We will use this information to inform the planning for TM@TRI so medtech and biotech companies can take their research from laboratory discovery to application in the community.

Please complete the Expression of Interest survey by Wednesday 31 August 2022.

For more information about TM@TRI, please visit the TRI website.
