Role Responsibilities

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the primary focus of this role will be to effectively manage the smooth day-to-day operation and administration of the Committee for Melbourne (CfM) office and provide high-level administrative support to the CEO and 2 Executive Directors, while promoting a professional image that enhances the reputation of the Committee.

The role

You will be working full-time hours (Mondays and Fridays working remotely; Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays in the office) within a small team of twelve full and part-time staff.

Essential Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience managing a busy CEO’s diary
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and confidence liaising with high-level stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail with exceptional organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise work to changing deadlines
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a small team
  • IT savvy, including database management
  • Understanding of current issues relating to the Committee for Melbourne’s agenda

Experience

  • Solid experience (min 5 years) in a Senior Executive Assistant / Office Manager role
