Cure Brain Cancer Foundation is the major funder of brain cancer research in Australia. Our Foundation funds research grants designed to improve survival outcomes for people with brain cancer, including project grants and fellowships.
To improve survival and quality of life for people with brain cancer, we need the most talented and brilliant minds working in this area. Cure Brain Cancer Foundation’s Early Career Fellowships aim to attract and support bright young researchers to pursue a career in brain cancer. This will help increase the capacity of research in Australia, which is essential for developing new and innovative treatments for brain cancer.
It is expected that Fellows undertake a significant piece of publishable work during their tenure that will lead to a more permanent position within the brain cancer research field.
Cure Brain Cancer Foundation’s Early Career Fellowships will offer grants-in-aid of up to $115,000 per year for three years. This includes up to $100,000 salary (depending on experience and academic level), $10,000 for research consumables and $5,000 for travel and conferences per year.
