The role of the Clinical Trial Assistant (CTA) has become more than a stepping stone to a career as a Clinical Research Associate. It is a role that is now seen as a career in itself and one that requires an increasing level of professionalism. As a brand new CTA or even as someone who has been working as a CTA for a while, it is easy to be task focused, but it is important to step back and see your part in the overall project. This workshop will focus on the why of what a CTA does, and how the role is an integral part of the clinical project team. Find out what all those documents are used for, why they are needed and why there is a requirement to track all that information. Understanding the many regulations that surround clinical trials and how they are implemented in a clinical organisation will be a focus of this workshop.
