At Nutromics we have a vision to create a world with zero preventable deaths due to the lack of timely, molecular level data. We are looking for a passionate and curious Chief Medical Officer (CMO) who is up to the challenge of revolutionising healthcare and bringing our vision to life.

Our CMO will be responsible for providing clinical insights and strategic direction for the company’s revolutionary Continuous Molecular Monitoring (CMM) platform. Success will rely on leveraging your existing contacts to build an ecosystem of strategic partners including world-leading hospitals, researchers, and clinicians. You will provide leadership and direction for all medical activities and be a thought leader in digital health and connected diagnostics.

Working collaboratively and continually challenging the status quo, you will be driving the company strategy and product pipeline through expert advice and clinical evidence.

The ideal candidate will have previously worked, or is currently working, in the United States and has an established network of clinicians and providers.

Qualifications

  • A valid medical degree is essential
  • Board-certified MD or equivalent
  • Specialisation in Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Oncology, or Cardiovascular is preferred

Skills and Experience

  • Able to engage with experts and clinicians across multiple specialities and lead discussions to identify unmet clinical needs.
  • Work experience in a hospital environment
  • 5+ years of post-residency clinical practice required
  • Be able to forge effective alliances and partnerships with providers and leaders in healthcare systems across the United States and Australia
  • Medical device experience is preferred
  • Experience presenting at medical conferences is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the Head of Product to identify unmet clinical needs where Nutromics’ technology can meaningfully intervene.
  • Working closely with the Clinical Director on study design, clinical trial protocols, investigator’s brochures, procedures for the company’s clinical trials.
  • Presenting the company’s technology and clinical evidence at medical conferences.
  • Managing and growing a world leading clinical advisory panel of experts.
  • Leading engagement with regulatory bodies to validate alignment between clinical strategy and regulatory requirements.
  • Conducting clinical evaluations and other literature reviews as required.
  • Representing the company externally as its primary medical representative.
  • Translating the capabilities of the company’s technology externally to collaborators, providers, customers, and patients.
  • Understanding the needs of clinicians, patients and healthcare systems and translating this internally to key stakeholders.
  • Provide assistance to overcome regulatory hurdles and institutional barriers.
  • Work directly with peers and healthcare leadership to champion the company’s products and services.
