Business Manager – Health Care

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Associate Director of Sales for ANZ, you will support our client’s footprint and expansion in the clinical industry across ANZ. You will engage and influence at all levels across the health sector including KOLs, Clinicians, Medical Specialists, GPs, and the associated Societies and networks.

  • Build high level strategic opportunities with new market segments to unlock new revenue opportunities by leveraging your broad customer relationships
  • Build productive relationships with new segment opportunities at multiple levels including C Suite
  • Develop business plans to help customers realise the value of NGS as an evolution to their business model.
  • Partner respective customers with service providers to connect patients to sample processing.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor the sales business plan to meet budget
  • Coordinate and communicate sales activities and strategies effectively to supervisors.
  • Ensure our clients commitment to customer satisfaction is performed, delivered, and constantly improved
  • Routinely and accurately forecast customer demand (i.e., product quantities, dollars, orders, shipments)
  • Ensure (SFDC) is completely utilized, updated, and compliant
  • Ensure a high level of liaison with other departments (e.g., Marketing, Market Development, Customer Solutions etc) and local sales team & staff to ensure coordination.
  • Strategic planning of accounts to identify opportunities to grow account plus diversify the product mix within the key account. Communication of plans to multiple internal stakeholders.
  • Quarterly reviews with accounts to be undertaken to demonstrate a higher-level understanding and commitment to customers goals
  • High level skills in account planning and mapping ensuring relationships are developed across the account on multiple verticals.

Preferred Experience & Skills

  • PhD, MS, MBBS or equivalent degree in Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Medicine.
  • A minimum of 4+ years of sales experience in the pathology /pharmaceutical/ therapeutic / Specialist /GP sales or medical devices industry
  • Background in molecular biology / genomics / next generation sequencing is preferred
  • Must be able to build relationships at a very high level
  • Excellent listening, time management, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Strong track record of forecasting tool utilization and forecast accuracy.
