Using AI to predict sudden cardiac death could soon be a reality.
At the Bionics Institute 2022 Graeme Clark Oration, world-renowned researcher Professor Natalia Trayanova will speak about the merging fields of artificial intelligence, engineering and medicine – the future of healthcare.
Date: Tuesday 12 July 2022
Location: Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre
Professor Trayanova specialises in computational cardiology. As the 2022 Orator, she will share details of her ground-breaking work on ‘digital twin hearts’ – a virtual replica of a person’s heart that simulates their personal health and aims to predict events such as cardiac arrests.
With heart disease being the major cause of death in Australia, this year’s Oration is an event not to be missed.
