BioMelbourne Network is seeking ‘Expressions of Interest’ for a Board Director to fill a vacant position and potentially act as Treasurer of BioMelbourne Network. To be eligible, applicants must currently be employed by an organisation that is a financial member of the BioMelbourne Network.
The Board of Directors seeks interest from people who can bring significant financial management experience and strategy to provide advice towards the effective strategic direction and business commercial growth of the Network. Present or past Board experience and knowledge within the biopharmaceutical, medical technology or healthtech industries will be an advantage.
In addition to principle financial skills, further skills and experience considered to be useful for the future execution of BioMelbourne Network’s strategy include:
The Expression of Interest (EOI) should consist of a cover letter explaining why you are interested in being a Director of the BioMelbourne Network Board and list your experience and skills (a short CV), noting the principle skill and additional skill gaps, highlighted above.
Please circulate this EOI to people in your organisation whom you think would be suitable and interested. More than one person can submit an EOI from each member organisation. The BioMelbourne Network Board will consider the EOI’s and the new Board member will be confirmed prior to the 2020 BioMelbourne Network AGM.
