Australia-Vietnam Healthtech Linkages (BioBridge Asia) Program will deliver a range of capacity-building initiatives for Australian and Vietnamese start-ups to generate new export activities and investment outcomes. The project will showcase both countries’ healthcare technologies in a series of events designed to raise awareness, accelerate cross-border commercialisation and address barriers to entry of healthcare market exports. The practical skills and market knowledge that will be provided to participants will help to fill the current gap in understanding and support early-stage health technology companies looking to succeed in cross-border trade and investment.
The first event in this program will be held virtually on 24 November (1pm-5pm AEDT). This opening Bootcamp will provide an introductory session on multiple topics which will be delivered by expert speakers. This event is intended for Life Sciences Start-ups, SME’s and entrepreneur’s considering exporting are encouraged to attend. This event will be in association with RMIT Activator, DSE and BioBridge Asia.

This Bootcamp marks the first event in the Australia / Vietnam Healthcare Linkages Program. Participants in the Bootcamp can choose to enrol in further events commencing in 2022. The program will include two joint streams (one for Australian start-ups, SMEs & research teams into Vietnam and the other for Vietnamese organisations into Australia) running simultaneously and will support 60+ SMEs and start-ups over the next 12 months Program activities will include:
