Lusia Guthrie has over 30 years’ experience in the pathology laboratory and pharmaceutical industries. After launching her career as a medical laboratory scientist, she spent 13 years in various managerial roles at the pharmaceutical company FH Faulding & Co before co-founding LBT Innovations in 2004.
As CEO at LBT Innovations, Lusia was involved in raising more than $55million and leading the company’s ASX listing. Lusia’s experience at LBT is complemented by considerable experience in product commercialisation, international partnerships, project management, non-dilutive capital raising, corporate strategy and regulatory compliance. She also has expertise in supply chain management, industrial relations and intellectual property management.
Lusia has previously served on the Manufacturing Consultative Council for the Government of South Australia, the Commonwealth Government’s Future Manufacturing Industry Innovation Council, and the Assessment Panel for the Medical Device Commercialisation Program at the SA Department of Trade and Economic Development.
She is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and currently serves on the AusMedtech Council, the Ausbiotech Medical Devices Advisory Committee, and the ACVT Industry Advisory Panel at the University of Adelaide.
