MTP Connect Competitiveness Plan Consultation Lunch (September 2016)

September 2016

A new pathway for engagement with the Federal Government on issues concerning the sector is through the recently established  Industry Growth Centres. Last week, BioMelbourne Network held a CEO lunch with Sue MacLeman, CEO MTPConnect as a roundtable consultation on the draft 10 year Sector Competitiveness Plan. Our members gave valuable feedback to Sue, particularly on the knowledge priority areas and proposed actions of the growth centre around key areas such as clinical trials. There was also a good discussion about the most recent round of the project grants, and those funding outcomes will be announced at the end of September.  If you have further comments on the strategies in the Sector Competitiveness Plan – please reach out!
