The R&D Tax Incentive Review paper including a proposed $2M cap on the annual cash refund payable under the R&D Tax Incentive. BioMelbourne Network does not support this proposed change to the R&D Tax Incentive which will put a handbrake on innovation and risk driving jobs and R&D activity offshore.

1. Take the Department of Industry, Innovation and Science’s online survey to say whether you agree or disagree with the recommendations
2. Attend a consultation session. Click here for more information.
3. Make a submission. This can be as simple as a one page letter with dot points outlining how your organisation would be effected by the proposed changes and what the impact would be. Would your R&D activity decrease in Australia? Would jobs be lost or moved overseas? Would you be less competitive in terms of attracting clients or investment to Australia? How will changes to the R&D Tax Incentive effect jobs and growth?
