The role

Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a new employee to join their Market Access business unit as a Market Access Senior Consultant or Market Access Lead (dependent on experience).

You will provide expert services to their clients in the key areas of: pricing and reimbursement strategy, feasibility assessment, health economics, and submission development for Australia & New Zealand. Your role will involve project management, collaboration and team work. Working with management, you will mentor experienced Consultants in the technical aspects of health economics & health technology assessment to optimise project outcomes, ensuring that work is delivered to the highest of standards.

Your expertise

  • Commercial or departmental experience in health outcomes, market access and/or health economics
  • A strong academic background in health economics or similar would also be considered
  • In-depth working knowledge of the Australian and New Zealand reimbursement environments
  • Demonstrated understanding of the HTA process for pharmaceuticals, devices and medical services (i.e. PBAC, MSAC, PLAC & PHARMAC)
  • Minimum tertiary qualifications in economics or a life sciences discipline
  • Postgraduate qualifications in health economics, epidemiology, statistics, or health sciences an advantage
  • Excellent verbal reasoning, written communication, problem-solving & project management skills
  • Proficiency in building and leveraging productive relationships and networks
  • Experience negotiating with government stakeholders and/or pricing experience will be highly regarded.

This role will ideally be based in our clients Melbourne CBD office. A Sydney-based candidate would also be considered. Some planned travel will be required.
